Lovely to meet you

I'm Kerin

Happiest in nature, camera in hand, capturing genuine people, families and lovely connections.

Thank you for your interest in my photography and beloved business which I have nurtured since a very young woman.

I’d be described as down to earth, warm, kind and honest. I care deeply about my work and the people who become my clients and often my friends.

I thrive on simple things ~ my fur babies, my home, outings with my mum, my family, walks, hiking, bike riding, genuine connections, dinners with friends, movies, vintage furniture, reading, antique shopping, road trips and pottering in my garden.

I've poured my heart and soul into my lifelong career

My entire career has been immersed in this magical craft and my business is my baby.

I’ve studied photography, obtained my Diploma in Commercial Photography, worked in labs, studios and been in business for over 20 years.
Hundreds and hundreds of family shoots and weddings, some lovely exhibitions and nice awards. Film, darkrooms and now digital and computers.

I’ve been gifted with a talent which I have harnessed and grown, it's been my journey, straight from school.

In 2011, I became a Master Photographer which was a special moment in my life.

My dearest Dad built me my first darkroom, a third of his shed when I was 16, although I did try to negotiate for half the shed, haha!

My decision to move out of the city and back to my Hills roots, embrace a tree change in 2015 has been the best decision I have ever made.

Over the last few years I have slowly renovated my beautiful old home in Strathalbyn.
Built in 1860, she's a real little gem. I was lucky to find it although I think it was waiting for me all along as I searched for my forever home.

I also converted a rustic stone building on my property to my studio, it's a funky, cool little space.

I have photographed the love stories of many couples, as they got married. What a privilege that has been, over 800 weddings.

Recently I made a heartfelt decision and am no longer booking Weddings. It's time for change.
Last week I shot my very last wedding of my career.
The end of an era. 25 years of shooting weddings.

BACK TO WHERE IT ALL STARTED

My focus is now completely my Family and Portrait work.
This is where it all began for me.

I am happiest out in nature, hanging out with families and couples, capturing genuine people and lovely connections.

I have many exciting ideas and plans. I'd love you to follow along.

Thanks for taking the time as I shared a part of me and my story.

Kindest, Kerin x
