I’ve photographed this precious family for years. Along the way we have become lovely friends.
Courtney and Will had been trying for a long time to fall pregnant after having their gorgeous girl, Ariah. They had just one embryo left, one last try.
I was over the moon when Courtney told me they were pregnant.
We did this shoot very close to their due date. It was magical and truly special. I had to pinch myself at how lucky I felt to be the one to capture this.
Since then they have welcomed a beautiful, healthy boy, Ashton who I met the other day when delivering their photos. We chatted for an hour or so, had a cuppa while Courtney was cooking a roast.
I love the connections and friendships of my job.
